Sapphire Capital Partners LLP proudly announces the appointment of Mrs. Serena Joseph as an Advisor to its Board of Directors.

With a distinguished career in the City of London spanning 30 years, Mrs. Joseph brings a wealth of expertise and insight to Sapphire’s board.  Her extensive background in organisational development, governance, regulatory compliance and culture, together with her proven track record in banking and advisory services make her a valuable addition to the company’s leadership team.

Mrs. Joseph has held prominent positions at renowned organisations, and currently is a non-executive director on the boards of ICICI Bank (UK) plc and Kroo Bank. Her insights into corporate governance and stakeholder relations will further strengthen Sapphire’s strategic direction and governance practices.

“We are thrilled to welcome Serena to Sapphire’s Board of Directors”, said Boyd Carson, Founder and Partner of Sapphire.  “Her deep industry knowledge, leadership acumen, and commitment to excellence align seamlessly with our corporate values and strategic objectives.  We look forward to leveraging her knowledge as we continue to chart a path of growth and innovation in the early-stage venture capital sector.

Mrs. Joseph expressed her enthusiasm about joining Sapphire, stating “ I am delighted to be working with the leadership team of Sapphire and contributing to its continued success.  I look forward to collaborating with the partners and Dr. Eric Warner to drive sustainable value creation and advance Sapphire’s strategic priorities.”

Mrs. Joseph’s appointment underscores Sapphire’s commitment to fostering a diverse and inclusive boardroom environment, reflective of the firm’s dedication to excellence, integrity and corporate governance best practices.  Sapphire is a signatory of HM Treasury’s Women in Finance charter and a certified B-Corp.
